広島県呉市にて制作される陶芸家・水野克俊さんの展覧会を開催いたします。瀬戸窯業訓練校、九谷青窯で研鑽を積み、愛媛・広田村で独立。現在は故郷・呉の地に工房を構え、作陶を続けています。独立当初から一貫して愛媛・砥部の磁土を用い、白磁ならではの端正な美しさを追求しています。李朝白磁や宋磁、初期伊万里をはじめとする古典の器に深く学び、その普遍的な造形美を現代の暮らしへと映し出す水野さん。
「写す」という行為を通して先人の知恵と技術を受け継ぎながら、自らの感性を重ね、時代を超えて親しまれる器を生み出しています。端正な佇まいと精緻な造形、手にしたときに感じる心地よい使い勝手。日々の食卓に寄り添う器としてはもちろん、おもてなしや節目の席など、ハレの日にも美しく映える作品が揃います。古典への深い敬意と、暮らしの中で育まれた美意識から生まれる白磁の世界を、この機会にぜひご高覧ください。

We are pleased to present a solo exhibition of ceramic artist Katsutoshi Mizuno, who lives and works in Kure, Hiroshima. After studying at the Seto Ceramic Training School and Kutani Seiyou Kiln, Mizuno established his independent practice in Hirota Village, Ehime, before returning to his hometown of Kure, where he continues to create his work. Using porcelain clay from Tobe, Ehime, he has consistently pursued the refined beauty unique to white porcelain. Inspired by classical ceramics—including Joseon white porcelain, Song dynasty wares, and early Imari—Mizuno reinterprets timeless forms for contemporary life. By drawing on the wisdom and craftsmanship of the past while expressing his own artistic vision, he creates vessels that are both enduring and deeply functional. Characterized by balanced forms, meticulous craftsmanship, and exceptional usability, his works are suited to both everyday dining and special occasions.
